Increasing budgets, increasing prices and a review of last year: the Q4/2017 price index illuminates the advertising year 2017 on all platforms and shows what impact the christmas season has on social advertising. 

Sometimes the Christmas season is everything else than calm and peaceful: Couples and family members vie for the greatest gift, at the mall everybody is trying to get hold of the best offer and advertisers want to snatch the best advertising slots to recall their brand to their (potential) customers right before Christmas shopping. This behaviour causes increasing prices within auction-based advertising environments such as the social networks.
